See photos below. Nice Antique Brass Telescopic Level Surveyors Transit Instrument Manufactured By Wm. H. Pfister In Cincinnati, Ohio For M. Price Company, Also In Cincinnati. Complete With Original Dove Tail Cornered Box With Original Label Affixed Under The Duel Latching Hooks Hinged Lid. Leather Strap Missing From One End Of The Box. The Transit Is Signed And Dated 1922 On The Underside Of The Brass Base (see photos). The Transit Measures About 13 1/4 Inches Long Fully Telescoped And 12 Inches Long Fully Retracted. The Liquid Bubble Level Vial Is Not Damaged. Front And Rear Lens Protectors Present And Functional. 1 Accessory Pin Is Missing From The Accessory Pin Holding Holes. The Box Measures About 13 1/2" X 6" X 8". All Aspects Of This Instrument Appear Functional. Obvious Signs Of Use And Expected Wear.
