Description

Antique Teddy Bear.
Possibly
made by an English Manufacturer, looks like a Farrell . Cir. 1910
Characteristics:
Long blonde Mohair fur, brown stitched nose, smiley mouth, and claws. Glass eyes set close together, little ears set wide, excelsior stuffing, big feet, rexine pads.
He wears a finely knit old blue sweater with mother-of-pearl buttons. (chair not included.)

Condition:
Fair.
This is a very old bear and well loved. Many bald spots and stains. Pads on arms are worn throw to stuffing and have been resewn a long time ago.  He was once fully jointed but somewhere along the line someone sewed his head, left leg and right arm stationary. Since the stitching is very old I decided not to repair him. Just love him. His fur is now sparse with bald spots.

I have had this bear for over 40 years, but it is time to let some of my things go to new homes. He has been well loved. This is a very old teddy.
